ITALY

CHICAGO- ROME
We will begin our pilgrimage to Italy with the meeting of the group at ORD airport in Chicago. After passport and baggage check-in, we will fly to Rome, Italy.
ROME
Arrival in Rome, transfer, and visit to the Basilica of St. Paul Outside the Walls. After the Holy Mass, and walk through Ancient Rome: Colosseum (exterior), Imperial Forums, Capitoline Hill, Venice Square, Teatro Marcello, Forum Boarium, Church of Santa Maria in Cosmedin (home to the Mouth of Truth), Portico of Octavia, Turtle Fountain, and Torre Argentina. Transfer to the hotel, check-in, dinner, overnight stay.
ROME
Breakfast, visit to the Basilica of St. John Lateran and the Basilica of Santa Maria Maggiore. Holy Mass and a walk through Baroque Rome. We will explore the most beautiful squares and fountains: Piazza Navona with the Fountain of the Four Rivers, Campo de’ Fiori, the Pantheon, the Trevi Fountain, Piazza di Spagna (with the famous Spanish Steps). Then, we’ll stroll through Via Condotti, famous for its “alta moda” shops, and Caffé Greco. Free time. Return to the hotel, dinner, overnight stay.
ROME-VATICAN
After breakfast, a transfer to the Vatican. Explore the Gardens of Vatican City, rich in centuries-old trees and exotic flowers. Stroll along the paths among the most elaborate fountains, houses, palaces, viewpoints, chapels, and grottoes. Visit the Vatican Museums with the famous Sistine Chapel. A visit to St. Peter’s Basilica and a prayer at the tomb of Saint John Paul II.Return to the hotel, dinner, overnight stay.
MONTE CASSINO- NAPLES
Breakfast and departure to Monte Cassino – visiting the Abbey of Montecassino and the Polish Soldiers’ Cemetery. Transfer to Naples – visit to the Church of St. Joseph, where the remains of the Servant of God Fr. Dolindo Ruotolo, are kept. After the Holy Mass, we will explore the Old Town, which is a UNESCO World Heritage site. Then, we’ll visit the Cathedral of Assumption of Mary, and a city tour by the bus. During the journey, we will see: Castel Nuovo, Piazza del Plebiscito, the Royal Palace, Galleria Umberto I, and Teatro San Carlo. Transfer to the hotel, dinner, overnight stay.
MONTE ST.ANGELO- SAN GIOVANI ROTONDO
Breakfast. Departure to Monte Sant’ Angelo – visit to the Sanctuary of Saint Michael the Archangel. Transfer to San Giovanni Rotondo, where a Holy Mass will be held. Free time for exploring places related to Padre Pio Church. Return to the hotel, dinner, overnight stay.
MONOPELLO-ANCONA
Breakfast, departure to Lanciano – visit to the Sanctuary of the Eucharistic Miracle. Village of Manopello – housing the Church and Sanctuary of “Holy Face” – the cloth with the authentic image of Christ. Holy Mass will be held there.Transfer to Ancona, check-in at the hotel. Dinner, overnight stay.
SPLIT-TROGIR
Breakfast. Arriving by ferry in Split, Croatia; we will explore the Old Town, the harbor, and the ancient Palace of Emperor Diocletian. Next, we will visit Trogir, where we’ll wander through the charming Old Town, see the Town Hall, and visit the St. Lawrence Cathedral. Afterward, we’ll proceed to Medjugorje, where we’ll check in, enjoy dinner, and spend the night.
MEDJUGORIE
Breakfast, stay in Medjugorie combined with visits to Marian devotion sites. We will visit the Church of St. James and make our way to Podbrdo Hill, the place of the initial apparitions of the Blessed Virgin Mary, accessible via a path adorned with bronze reliefs depicting the mysteries of the rosary. Way of the Cross on Križevac Hill, with time for prayer. A visit to Mostar follows, a medieval town founded by the Turks, where the main attraction is the 16th-century stone Old Bridge. Conclude the day with dinner and overnight accommodation.
DUBROVNIK
Breakfast, departure to Dubrovnik, known as the “Pearl of the Adriatic.” Exploring this picturesque city, rich in historic landmarks and charming streets. Transfer to the hotel, dinner, overnight stay.
CROATIA-USA
Breakfast. Transfer to the airport in Dubrovnik or Split. Departure to your home country.
