CHICAGO – TORONTO
Embark from Chicago to Orchard Lake’s Sts. Cyril and Methodius Seminary, spanning 463 km. Pause en route for a meal. Explore the historic seminary founded in 1885 by Father Dąbrowski, the first of its kind in Michigan and the U.S., catering to seminarians from abroad, notably Poland.
Partake in Holy Mass at the Polonian Shrine of Our Lady in Orchard Lake. Cross into Canada and head to Toronto.
Dine and rest in Toronto, ready to embrace the spiritual and cultural experiences ahead. Join us on this enriching journey of faith and discovery.
Canada 2024 – Pilgrimage – Discovering Faith and Culture
TORONTO
After breakfast, let’s delve into the vibrant heartbeat of Canada’s largest city – Toronto. It’s not just a financial hub but a lush green oasis with parks dotting its urban landscape, making it one of the greenest cities globally.
Our adventure begins with a visit to the iconic CN Tower (553 m- 1,815.3 ft), promising awe-inspiring views of the city. We’ll then journey to the Rogers Centre (SkyDome), meander through the bustling business district, and pass by iconic landmarks like Parliament, Queen’s Park, City Hall, and the University.
Our next destination is Mississauga, where we explore the charming village of Port Credit nestled along Lake Ontario’s shores. Dating back to 1720, this quaint area boasts stunning architecture, serene parks, and a picturesque lakeside marina. We attend Holy Mass at the Church of St. Maximilian Kolbe, the world’s largest Polish parish, and explore St. Eugene and Our Lady of Ludźmierz Church in Brampton.
Finally, we return to Toronto for a hearty dinner and a restful night, ready to embrace the wonders that lie ahead.
MIDLAND
After breakfast, we visit the Martyrs’ Shrine and then head to Midland, a charming city on the Georgian Bay. There, we explore the Canadian Martyrs’ Shrine and attend Mass for our group. Afterward, we learn about the Jesuit Saints and their sacrifices before visiting the mission and Huron village. We wrap up with stories aboard the SS Keewatian.

MONTREAL
After breakfast, travel to Montreal, located in the province of Quebec. This is the largest province in Canada and also the largest French-speaking territory. The day’s sightseeing in Montreal will include attractions such as Old Town and Place Jacques-Cartier, the Notre-Dame Basilica, and the wooded slopes of Mount Royal with its promenades and the green business and commercial districts. This area is where the majority of the population has preserved the language and culture inherited from their French ancestors.

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel before embarking on our journey from Ottawa to the breathtaking Algonquin Provincial Park. This expansive natural wonder, spanning 7725 km2, is a haven of tranquility nestled in central Ontario. Take in the beauty of lush forests, pristine lakes, and meandering rivers – the perfect setting for a rejuvenating picnic and a chance to commune with the unique flora and fauna of the region. Keep your camera ready as Algonquin is renowned as one of North America’s prime spots for capturing moose, white-tailed deer, and beavers in their natural habitat.
After a day of exploration and wildlife encounters, we make our way to our hotel in Huntsville. Get ready for an evening of relaxation and reflection, surrounded by the natural splendor of Algonquin Park.

After breakfast, prepare for an unforgettable day at Niagara Falls. Experience the awe-inspiring views from a special platform before boarding the iconic “Maid of the Mist” boat for a thrilling ride beneath the falls. Don’t miss the chance to explore the Cave of the Winds and take a leisurely stroll to Goat Island. Attend Holy Mass at the peaceful Sanctuary of Our Lady of Fatima.
In the afternoon, we start our journey back to Chicago, cherishing the memories of our incredible adventure at Niagara Falls.
